Le Mans 2026 GT3
Catsburg Guides Corvette to Historic LMGT3 Victory
Nicky Catsburg added another memorable chapter to his Le Mans career by helping TF Sport and Corvette secure a landmark victory in the LMGT3 class at the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans. Sharing the #33 Corvette Z06 LMGT3.R with Ben Keating and Jonny Edgar, the Dutch driver played a decisive role in one of the team's finest endurance racing performances.
Starting only 17th in the LMGT3 field, TF Sport steadily worked its way through the order with a combination of flawless strategy, consistent pace and exceptional reliability. Catsburg was instrumental during the demanding overnight hours, delivering a series of fast and mistake-free stints that moved the Corvette into contention before sunrise.
After Keating completed his mandatory driving time early in the race, Catsburg and Edgar controlled the pace at the front, managing traffic and tyre wear while avoiding the pitfalls that caught out several rivals. Their disciplined approach allowed the #33 Corvette to maintain its advantage throughout the final hours.
When the chequered flag fell after 24 relentless hours, TF Sport had claimed Corvette's first-ever LMGT3 victory and the American manufacturer's tenth class victory at Le Mans. It was another outstanding triumph for Catsburg, whose speed, experience and consistency once again proved invaluable on endurance racing's biggest stage.
The victory reinforced Corvette's legendary status at Le Mans and added yet another prestigious result to Catsburg's already impressive endurance racing résumé.
